Vesper is a braided ring of liquid light floating in a black depth, with a ribbon, an inner ring and an orb melting into it. Its enamel surface carries fine veins and six abstract image motifs, while translucent veils, drifting dust and a far spiral of mist surround it.
The loop above is a silent 13-second excerpt of a 1080p Studio export. In the Studio it moves to your own track.
How it reacts to your music
- Bass swells the core ring, the orb and the veils around them and draws the view a little closer.
- Kicks and beats make the ring pulse outward and the dust flare up.
- The mids speed up the flow, raise the ridges on the enamel surface and thicken the inner ring.
- The highs brighten the veils and make the dust glow.
- Loudness drives the waves along the ring and adds a faint glow inside the depth.
Music that suits it
Slow, deep and cinematic music: ambient, downtempo, dub techno, deep house or film scores. A round bass makes the core breathe, while sustained pads keep the flow moving. Fast, busy drums show up mostly as flaring dust.
What it does on its own
The image motifs crossfade on the scene’s own clock, every half minute or so, not on the song’s bars. The palette runs from petrol through orange to pearl and drifts slowly by itself; hue, warmth, saturation and exposure can be set in the Studio.
